Town Hall

The Corinth Town Hall provides a centralized location for Town Offices and Departments, promoting an active community engagement and enhancing local governance by fostering collaboration and participation among residents.

The Assessor's Office prepares all tentative and final rolls of property in the Town and applies tax exemptions for such items as:

  • Aged
  • "STAR" (Basic and Enhanced)
  • Clergy
  • Non-profit organizations
  • Agricultural land and buildings

The Building Department acts as local Flood Administrator and enforces Town codes, New York State Uniform Fire codes, New York State building codes and issues building permits for property in the Town of Corinth.

The Town of Corinth Ambulance Service operates 24/7/365, providing continuous paramedic-level care to the residents of the Town and Village of Corinth, the Town of Greenfield, and the Town of Day.  The staff, consisting of paramedics and EMT's, operate out of two stations with a fleet of four ambulances and two first response vehicles, covering approximately 192 square miles and protecting nearly 12,000 year-round residents.

Court sessions are held Tuesday morning at 10:00 AM and include:

  • Civil proceedings
  • Small claim cases
  • Vehicle, traffic and parking tickets
  • Those criminal matters which fall within the jurisdiction of this Court

The office of Corinth Supervisor Eric Butler is the executive center of local government.  It is the responsibility of this office to work with the citizens of Corinth in many capacities.

At the office of the Town Clerk, a person can obtain dog licenses, hunting and fishing licenses, marriage licenses, birth and death records, certificates of residency, bingo licenses, handicapped parking permits, genealogy searches and voter registration forms.  Taxes and water rents are also payable at this office.

Dog Control

The Dog Control Officer is responsible for enforcing the relevant section of the NYS Agriculture and Markets Law - Article 7 and Local Laws of the Town of Corinth

Highway Dept

The Highway Department is responsible for the year round maintenance and repairs of all roads within the confines of the Town of Corinth.

The Landfill manages a transfer station to enhance efficient waste transportation, fostering sustainable community practices and safeguarding environmental protection.

Town Board

An elected Board governs the Town of Corinth.  The Town Board is the overall executive, administrative, and legislative body.
